The only good thing about this company is the friends you will make.

Your salary will vary for no obvious reason but your contract is 26pages long so don't worry they will find a "valid" reason.

The company says that your salary is post tax so you should be happy. However most Nationals from English speaking countries are tax exempt for their first 2years in Thailand. So that is BS.

The current recruter is a joke. He misses more days for being hangover than he actually works however got to admit he sells the job well...i accepted it.

Thailand is actually in need of teachers go to Fun as a last resort!

"However most Nationals from English speaking countries are tax exempt for their first 2years in Thailand." This is another example of someone who thinks they know something but never bothered to learn or ask. NO-ONE is exempt from personal income in Thailand for a period of time, resident or non-resident.  There are exemptions for income less than 150,000 baht per year but that it is.  After that, you pay income tax or you can't renew your work permit since you must prove/show the paid taxes to renew. http://www.thaiworkpermit.com/personal-income-tax-in-thailand.html  So many simply complain about their job or employement conditions because they don't think it is right or they want something more.  I have heard many times from whingers "You never told me..." "That is illegal!"  "That is against the law!"  No, it is not.  Maybe in your country, but it is not your country.  You are just ignorant of the facts.  That is probably why the contract ended up 26 pages.
